You may issue feedback or send the participant to a web site based upon the satisfaction of a condition that is typically based, in some way, upon their score on the assessment. You can enter a new conditional feedback item in the box provided and click update. There are no limits upon the number of condition feedback actions that may be defined. Typical Uses of Conditional Feedback
When editing a condition, first select which score you wish to compare to a number of your choice. This could be the total score in points for the assessment as shown above. However, using the popup menu supplied, it could be the score as a percentage or the score of a particular group of questions. You can specify the type of comparison to be made (greater than or less than or equal) and the number that the score will be compared against.
Redirection to a Web Page You may specify a message or a URL in the space provided. Entering a URL will cause the participant to be automatically whisked to the web site specified. Please note that this will prevent any review of the participant's responses. The HTML checkbox is provided for expert users who may want to format their feedback using custom HTML web page code. Finally, you can tell Test Pilot to stop considering any subsequent conditional feedback actions if the current condition is specified. Deleting a Conditional Submission Action Item To delete any conditional feedback actions, check the condition's delete box and click update. Help is Available! Please note that, at any time while you are editing an assessment, you can click upon the titles of the fields listed for your entries. If you do so, a popup window with an explanation of the items use and features will be shown. Saving your Changes - Don't Forget to Update It should be noted that on the editing panels, you will see one or more Update buttons. Whenever you adjust a setting or make changes to any item, you must click an update button to record the changes. You may make multiple changes and then click Update, but if you fail to click the update button, your changes may not be recorded. The mode popup menu allows you to adjust access to Test Pilot features and trim the detail of the automatically provided assistance for authoring.
